As the Strategic Partnership Director you’ll blend strategic insight with hands-on operational excellence. You’ll oversee the delivery of engineering, landscaping, cleaning, security, and ancillary services, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your mission is to deliver world-class service, act as the senior point of escalation, and bring innovative solutions to life.Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesService Delivery Maestro: Lead the delivery of engineering, landscaping, cleaning, security, and ancillary services across 13+ sites in the UK, ensuring high guest satisfaction.Strategic Sorcerer: Provide strategic direction to enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction.Stakeholder Enchanter: Serve as the main point of contact for the Merlin Entertainments account, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and clear communication.Performance Wizard: Develop and implement KPIs to monitor and improve service delivery and ensure alignment with standards.Innovation Alchemist: Drive optimization through technology and identify innovative solutions to keep operations ahead.Team Leader Extraordinaire: Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Financial Guardian: Manage the financial performance of the account, including a contract value of over £25 million per annum, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to achieve commercial goals.Compliance and Safety Champion: Ensure operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.Turnover and TeamTurnover > £25 million per annumTotal Number of Employees Over 700Health & Safety AccountabilitiesMaintain safety communications with colleagues, promote high morale, and reflect a positive safety image through actions.Maintain health and safety competence and ensure plant and equipment are maintained and fit for purpose.Properly manage and supervise work activities.Critical Performance Measures (CPMs) / ObjectivesEnsure successful mobilisation and transition, delivering all milestones on time and to standard.Meet commercial targets and achieve sustained growth and retention.Maintain high standards of service delivery and guest satisfaction.QualificationsEducational LevelDegree (BSc, BEng or MEng) or equivalent minimumExperience10+ years senior management experience in Facilities Management.Experience managing large-scale, complex hard services biased partnerships is preferred.Previous P&L responsibility of over £25m per annum.Proven experience developing and implementing contract strategies and programs.Experience leading in a multi-layered organization with competing priorities.Personal Characteristics / AttributesExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.Ability to build credibility with operational managers and colleagues quickly.Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.Tact, diplomacy, and composure.Proactive, guest-focused, and results-oriented.Core SkillsFocusing on the CustomerAchieving ResultsProblem SolvingTeam WorkingCommunicating & InfluencingDeveloping PeopleAccounting KnowledgeOther DetailsDriver's License required.Flexible working arrangements as needed, especially during incidents.How To ApplyIf you are interested in joining a business that encourages professional development, career progression and the chance to work with inspirational people, please click apply and register your interest.
