Role and Reporting Inviting applications for the role of Strategy Development Leader, People Advisory Services – Director - English. We are seeking an accomplished Director, Strategy Development Leader within our People Advisory Services practice. This position will report to our People Advisory Services Practice Global Leader and is integral to the day-to-day planning and execution of our go-to-market strategies. The incumbent will build and maintain processes and strategies to ensure our team of approximately 70 consultants operate efficiently against goals of delivery health, utilization, resourcing, and finance management. You will deliver on these goals through working directly with our Advisory Partners and Project Leaders to uphold principles of delivery hygiene and resource management across the entire People Advisory Services book of work. Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operations of our people advisory practice, ensuring efficient resource allocation, project delivery excellence, and client satisfaction Develop and implement standardized processes, tools, and templates to enhance consistency and quality of service delivery Oversee frameworks, staffing models, and utilization targets Partner with finance to manage practice economics including billing rates, revenue forecasting, resource planning, and profitability analysis Build and lead internal operational teams (Business Development, Knowledge Management, etc.) Implement systems and technologies to support practice operations and client service delivery Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency Strategic Development: Identify market opportunities and develop new service offerings in the people advisory space Create proprietary methodologies, frameworks, and tools that differentiate our practice Lead the development of go-to-market strategies for new offerings Collaborate with client-facing teams to package and position our advisory solutions Build strategic partnerships to enhance practice capabilities (technology providers, subject matter experts, etc.) Stay current on emerging trends in HR, talent management, organizational development, and workforce transformation Drive thought leadership initiatives to establish market presence and credibility
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications / Skills Relevant years in operational leadership roles within professional services, consulting, or advisory firms Strong understanding of change management and people advisory services delivery models Experience managing the operations of a growing professional services practice Track record of developing new service offerings and methodologies Background in implementing systems and processes to enhance service delivery Experience with practice management fundamentals Deep understanding of professional services business models and economics Exceptional people leadership and team development capabilities Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills Strategic thinker with hands-on operational execution abilities Entrepreneurial mindset balanced with process discipline Knowledge of change management, organizational transformation HR, talent management, and organizational effectiveness domains Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling client solutions
Preferred Qualifications / Skills Bachelor's degree required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred Relevant management, or consulting certifications
