Job Description

We’re hiring a Supply Chain Director for a fast-growing, venture-backed scale-up within the FMCG space, based in London (hybrid).


This company has grown exponentially over the last couple of years and are now looking to launch into new channels and new geographical markets.


You’ll be responsible for designing, scaling, and optimising their end-to-end supply chain to support rapid growth across multiple channels. You’ll lead a high-performing team, own critical relationships, implement systems, and ensure operations are resilient, efficient, and agile.


This role will also work cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance, Product, and Tech teams to build the backbone of operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Organisational Development

  • Build, mentor, and scale a world-class supply chain team across logistics, planning, and procurement
  • Instil a high-performance, data-driven culture across the function
  • Lead change management initiatives and foster continuous improvement

End-to-End Supply Chain Strategy

  • Define and own the global supply chain strategy, aligned with business growth targets
  • Lead demand planning, procurement, production, inventory, warehousing, fulfilment, and logistics
  • Build a robust S&OP framework, aligning supply with commercial forecasts and financial planning

Operational Excellence & Risk Management

  • Implement and optimise scalable processes across the supply chain
  • Identify and mitigate risks around supply continuity, cost inflation, and logistics disruptions
  • Oversee supplier performance, ensuring quality, reliability, and ethical standards

Systems, Data & Technology

  • Lead implementation and optimisation of ERP/IMS and planning systems
  • Drive automation and reporting to improve visibility, agility, and cost control
  • Champion a data-led approach to decision-making and forecasting

International Expansion

  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies to support international growth, including customs compliance, cross-border logistics, and localisation
  • Establish regional warehousing and fulfilment capabilities as required


Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in supply chain leadership roles, ideally in FMCG or consumer brands
  • Proven track record scaling supply chains through rapid growth and complexity
  • Deep knowledge of global logistics, procurement, and supply planning
  • Experience leading ERP/IMS implementations
  • Experience launching brands through multiple channels, D2C/Retail etc
