Senior Vice President (Director equivalent)

Weber Shandwick is hiring a Senior Vice President (Director equivalent) to join our Public Affairs team in London. You will lead client public affairs programmes, advise senior stakeholders, and grow our portfolio across tech, insurance, and retail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own leadership of multiple client public affairs programmes and budgets.
  • Serve as primary client contact on public affairs accounts.
  • Act as trusted advisor, counsellor, and business partner to key client contacts across a variety of sectors.
  • Develop integrated public affairs strategies that combine earned and paid media.
  • Identify new business opportunities, pitch to potential clients, and contribute to the team’s pipeline.
  • Lead client engagement, manage cross‑functional teams, and ensure high‑quality deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Minimum six years of public affairs agency experience.
  • Proven public affairs and political insight with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to digest complex information.
  • Strong project management, organisational and leadership skills.
  • Digital and social media proficiency and a keen eye for detail.
  • Fluency in English; additional language(s) an advantage.
