Overview

Forvis Mazars is seeking a Corporate Tax Associate Director to drive our growing Banking & Asset Management corporate tax practice. The role focuses on leading and growing our go-to-market offering within Banking & Asset Management, managing business development opportunities, and contributing to the wider FS Tax strategy. The position involves leading teams across corporate tax advisory, compliance and tax engagements, and delivering high-quality work for clients in alignment with Firm policies.

What You'll Do

  • Drive the Banking & Asset Management corporate tax practice and contribute to the growth of the FS Tax strategy.
  • Lead and manage teams across corporate tax advisory, compliance and audit of tax engagements.
  • Manage a portfolio of high-quality client work and ensure profitable outcomes through best practices, technology, and adherence to Firm policies.
  • Act as a role model for junior team members in London, delegating and reviewing work and fostering their development.

What You'll Bring

  • Extensive experience leading a portfolio of corporate tax engagements in Banking & Asset Management, across tax compliance and/or tax advisory services.
  • Strong interest in remaining up-to-date on broader business tax, international tax, regulatory and tax accounting areas (e.g., OECD Pillar 2 – GloBE).
  • Willingness to take on team management and development within the FS Tax team.
  • Experience managing financials on client engagements, setting timelines, delivering against budgets, and negotiating fees with clients.
  • Experience identifying opportunities for business development across FS Tax and other service lines.
