Tax Director - Personal Tax

Are you an experienced tax professional with a strong background in trusts, inheritance tax planning, and private client work? We're looking for a director to lead a Trust Tax team, delivering exceptional service to a varied and high-profile client base.

This is a senior leadership role where your technical expertise, strategic insight, and client relationship skills will make a real impact. You'll work with high-net-worth individuals, families, and trustees, providing tailored tax solutions and guidance on complex trust structures and succession strategies.

Key responsibilities

Manage a diverse portfolio of trust and high-net-worth clients, ensuring high-quality compliance and advisory services. Review and sign off trust accounts and technical tax advice. Advise on inheritance tax, trust structuring, and succession planning. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of advisors. Build strong relationships with trustees, beneficiaries, and professional intermediaries. Support business growth through client development and marketing initiatives. Collaborate across the firm to identify opportunities and mitigate risk. Contribute to the strategic direction and operations of the trust business.
