We are working with a tier-one international company who are looking for a Director to lead their Private Client Tax Advisory team within their Belfast office.

The Role

The successful candidate will lead a well-regarded international team, working on a diverse range of complex tax matters for private wealth clients. The candidate will take a central role in advising HNWIs, private equity, trusts, and privately owned companies. The candidate will maintain an up-to-date and extensive understanding of UK tax matters, serving as a subject matter expert for their team. The candidate will play a paramount role in managing client relationships, while also displaying a strong background in contributing to business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multinational Private Client Tax Advisory team in Belfast.
• Advise on a diverse range of complex UK tax matters for private wealth clients, including HNWIs, trusts, private equity, and privately owned companies.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of UK tax matters and act as a subject matter expert for the team.
• Manage client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.

Qualifications

• ACA and/or CTA Qualification (or an international equivalent).
• Strong background in complex UK tax matters and fostering client relationships.
• Excellent commercial awareness.
• Outstanding academics; technically excellent.
• Willingness to take a paramount role in business development.
• Ability to work independently and to lead a team.
