Head of FM StrategyRole Summary / Purpose and ScopeThis role will be based at 180 Great Portland St and responsible for the southern portfolio and TSM structure in supporting across that area.Oversee the delivery of MAPP FM Consultancy activities and services across the portfolio.Take a lead role in building optimisation implementations across your portfolio.Consider implementation of modern technologies including 'Smart buildings solutions and Internet of Things (IOT) monitoring solutions with the Head of Building Technology.Support with any MEES, or carbon to net-zero initiatives that the MEP systems and suppliers can deliver and is agreeable to the Landlord.Take a lead role in ensuring that there is appropriate MAPP coordination with any fit-out, project work, or redevelopment instructions, but not CDM design advice.Review building technical documentation on behalf of MAPP relating to fit-out, project, or redevelopment work.Oversee the use of MAPP appointed MEP Consultants, chair any meetings with them, benchmarking their performance to their contract deliverables.Take a lead role in ensuring that there is appropriate assistance for operational teams with management and partnerships of MEP/VT supply partners, including consultants where appropriate.Use RiskWise effectively to report on MEP compliance for MAPP, reviews suppliers rating scores from the FM and site teams.Use RiskWise effectively to analyse Service Desk coordinated MEP jobs and the Asset Module for planned works and trends on MEP asset age, compliance, condition, and CO outputs.Take a lead role in ensuring that there is appropriate advice, training, and guidance structures in place on any MAPP-instructed MEP or VT projects and escalate these requests to the Technical Service Director.Provide guidance to responsible persons on the management of compliance documentation and associated actions arising.Provide ad hoc technical resources to ensure MEP compliance audits are completed in line with the requirements of ACOPs, ISO, and British standards applicable to MAPP's management to aid the MAPP V1 standards.Contribute to the Facilities Management, Building Consultancy, and Sustainability team's service offering, and develop a partnering ethos to aid the MAPP V3 offers.Provide input and comment on project works, from an ongoing maintenance and facilities management perspective.Undertake PUWER risk assessments where required, witnessing of Cause & Effects testing and witnessing of suppliers TM44 inspections and leak testing.Help deliver BCP training exercises when requested on topics such as power loss or critical MEP system failures.Carry out other assessments as required to support the larger business.
