About Our Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Technology Leader to join our team here in the Northwest. This role is pivotal in driving our go-to-market strategies and aligning our technology team to achieve our Slalom objectives and business goals.
Life As a Senior Technology Leader
As a Technology Leader, you will oversee technology initiatives across the North West. You will collaborate closely with our leadership teams in London and Ireland, as well as the Go to Market team, to identify opportunities, conduct initial meetings, and assist with solution deals. Additionally, you will inspire and develop the broader technology community in Manchester. Specifically, you will:
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Lead and align the technology team to focus on go-to-market strategies.
- Drive technical discussions and decisions, ensuring alignment with Slalom business objectives and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with our Leadership, Sales and Go to Market teams to drive early meetings and solution deals.
- Engage in public speaking at conferences and town halls to represent the team and energise the audience.
- Demonstrate strong technical solutioning skills and experience in building and leading teams.
- Stay current with the latest Software/Cloud technologies, best practices and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Promote our people first mentality, encourage well-being and being an advocate for diversity & Inclusion across our teams.
- Experience in a leadership role within the technology and engineering space.
- Hands-on technical background, preferably as a software or cloud engineer.
- Strong technical solutioning skills and the ability to engage with C-level executives.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to inspire, influence, and develop relationships through public speaking and community outreach.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
