We are seeking an accomplished technology leader with a proven track record of leading teams and delivering complex solutions in the financial services sector - specifically within trade surveillance, compliance, or related regulatory technologies. The Opportunity As the Technology Director, you will: Define and drive the strategic vision for the Centre of Excellence, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements. You'll lead and scale high-performing teams, building a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability for a function with plans to grow to 100 over the next few years. Oversee the development and enhancement of trade surveillance, transaction monitoring and compliance-related platforms and tools, ensuring they meet evolving global regulatory standards. Partner with senior stakeholders across technology, compliance, and business functions to deliver transformative outcomes. You'll champion modern engineering practices and establish best-in-class delivery frameworks for the wider organisation. About You We are looking for a leader who can combine deep financial services expertise with outstanding people leadership skills. You will bring: Extensive experience in financial services technology, with direct involvement in trade surveillance, compliance and/or transaction monitoring, or regulatory platforms. A strong track record of leading, mentoring, and scaling technology teams in dynamic environments. Proven ability to drive large-scale technology transformation programmes in complex, regulated organisations. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at C-suite level. A passion for building something new and leaving a lasting impact.
