An outstanding individual is sought to fulfil the role of Training Programme Director for Professional Support and Wellbeing Service (PSWS) for KSS.This is a 3 PA Training Programme Director vacancy.The role of Training Programme Director PSWS - Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS)is to work with and support the PSWS Associate Dean and Regional PSWS Business Manager in supporting and delivering professional support and wellbeing services to resident doctors in training across the Kent, Surrey, and Sussex region.Main duties of the jobThe Training Programme Director (TPD)is professionally and managerially accountable to the Associate Dean PSWS. The TPD role will be primarily focused on managing, supporting and developing the team of Case Managers in their roles supporting individual resident doctors in training. The TPD role will also include:Supporting complex cases,Supporting the development of Case Managers is KSS PSWSImprovement and development of existing and new PSWS services,Improving engagement and awareness with the KSS educator community,Deputising for the PSWS Associate Dean.The role is evolving as the KSS Deanery operations are transferred out from the London Health Education Team (HET), foundation, GP and public health are already being supported by the SE PSWS team, with the remaining schools to transfer in the future.
