This is a high-impact leadership role for an experienced Finance Director, ideally with prior exposure to PE-backed environments and buy-and-build strategies. The UK FD will act as a strategic partner to the Group CFO, taking full ownership of the UK finance function and supporting the wider business through its next phase of growth. Key Responsibilities: Lead the preparation of UK statutory and consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timeliness. Drive financial governance, internal controls, and regulatory compliance across UK operations. Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting. Manage UK banking relationships, audit processes, and treasury operations. Support M&A activity including financial due diligence, integration planning, and post-deal integration. Collaborate with Group and local teams to implement and enhance management information systems and reporting tools. Partner with operational leaders, HR, and M&A teams to align financial strategy with business objectives. Provide commercial insight to support strategic decision-making, investment appraisals, and growth initiatives. Develop and lead a high-performing UK finance team with a focus on continuous improvement. Candidate Profile: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with proven experience in senior finance leadership roles. Experience in a multi-site, service-led, or field-based operational model is preferred. Track record of working within PE-backed businesses or fast-growth environments. Strong understanding of financial control, commercial finance, and strategic planning. Comfortable navigating complex, fast-paced, and evolving business environments. Proactive, hands-on, and collaborative leadership style. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels. Why Join?
