On behalf of our client, Parkinson Lee Executive Search is leading the appointment of a
Managing Director
to take full operational and commercial responsibility for a UK-based engineering and manufacturing business that forms part of a global group.
With revenues of c.£40m, a workforce of around 60, and a strong international customer base spanning defence, military, industrial and infrastructure, the business is now embarking on an ambitious five-year growth plan. Central to this strategy is the expansion of its defence and military contracts, continued product innovation, and the strengthening of its manufacturing capability in the UK.
The Role
Reporting to the President the Managing Director will:
Hold full P&L responsibility for the UK entity. Lead all operational functions including manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and project delivery. Drive improved performance, efficiency, and accountability across the organisation. Champion customer relationships, ensuring delivery excellence across defence, commercial, and aftermarket channels.
