Overview

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):

• Underwriting for new and existing clients in accordance with the Company underwriting philosophy.
• Analyse and assess Property submissions regarding coverage and risk hazards, determine capacity, and propose lead or follow business.
• Visit and call brokers and cedants to develop relationships with individual client contacts.
• Build and maintain knowledge of the geographic markets, including wording, law, regulation, brokers, and competitors.

Qualifications required:

• A University Degree is required; professional re/insurance designations such as ACII or CPCU would be an asset.

Experience required:

• Currently working in the market with a good track record and contacts with both cedants and brokers.
• Proven ability to market to industry contacts at all levels.
• High technical competence in property insurance.
• UK & international travel is expected for this position.
