The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert VAT advice and solutions to a diverse range of clients, winning and managing their own portfolio and create and maintain strong and long-lasting relationships with clients, Directors, and staff.Client detailsOur client is a Top-20 Accountancy Practice with over 130 offices across the UK & Ireland. With the resources of a large organisation and the hands-on, considerate, personal approach typical of your local accountancy firm, our client is able to offer the best of both worlds to their clients & employees alike.DescriptionAlthough formally situated in Cardiff, the successful candidate can be based out of any of my clients Southern-UK offices, including central London.The successful candidate will be responsible for...Win and manage own portfolio of clients.Provide industry leading insights, solutions, and advice to build the firm's reputation and client base.Promote the firm's products, services, and image to generate new business opportunities and enhance its reputation.Create and maintain strong and long-lasting relationships with clients, Directors, and staff.Contribute to strategic and business planning to deliver an increase in revenue and profits.Recruit, develop and manage a high performing team who deliver a great service to clients and meet their billing targets.Create a high-performing culture where people live the vision, mission and values and act to improve if not.Hold responsibility for client relationships up to £600k of revenue to ensure the best possible value, advice and quality and compliance for clients.Ensure client work complies with all legal and ethical standards and statutory regulations.Provide leadership and direction to the team to help motivate and inspire people to higher performance.Set performance measures, review performance, and take effective action to improve when off track.Develop workforce planning and workload management processes that ensure the correct staffing levels to process workload.Develop people, processes, systems, and practices to raise productivity and output quality.Be a strong role model for the organisation's values and standards to develop a high-performance culture.Develop and maintain the highest standards of technical knowledge and expertise for self and others.Measure the service provided to clients and implement improvements to deliver industry leading service to clients.Complete own portfolio of client work to provide industry leading insights and advice.ProfileA successful VAT Associate Director should have:Working closely with the leadership team, you will bring strong corporate sector VAT consulting experience; be commercially savvy, and with the people skills to have an impact with both your clients and internally.You will work on clients both nationally and locally and be excited about playing a real part of the firm's ongoing success.The role can be based in any of my clients offices in the UK nationally.You will need UK VAT consulting experience and be enthusiastic by the type of work the team is getting involved in and the prospects on offer.Prior VAT Housing Association and/or public sector focus useful but not essential.Job OfferSalary: Competitive - enquire for more detailsCompany Pension Scheme25 days of annual leave + bank holidaysAdditional annual leave days from certain levels of seniorityAbility to buy up to 5 days of annual leave to reach a maximum of 30 days per annumBusiness closure over Christmas*Life Assurance x4 annual salaryEnhanced family leave policiesEnhanced Company Sick PayEmployee Assistance Programme - 24/7 support, free and confidentialCorporate Discounts PlatformFor more questions regarding this opportunity, please enquire to the attached details. #J-18808-Ljbffr
