A prestigious professional services firm, consistently recognised for its client-centric approach and collaborative culture, is currently seeking a VAT Director with a strong background in Real Estate and Construction.

This is a confidential leadership opportunity within a top-tier VAT practice, designed for an experienced individual who can lead complex advisory engagements, nurture key client relationships, and contribute to strategic growth—particularly within the real estate, infrastructure, and property development sectors.

The Opportunity:

  • Lead and grow a portfolio of clients in the real estate and construction space, providing high-value VAT advisory services.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for clients, delivering insight across property transactions, land & property VAT, option to tax, and capital goods scheme.
  • Work closely with Partners to shape the VAT strategy and offering.
  • Lead and mentor a team of VAT professionals, fostering technical excellence and development.
  • Collaborate across service lines to provide integrated client solutions.

The ideal profile:

  • ACA/CTA or equivalent qualification with significant post-qualified experience.
  • Proven VAT advisory experience, with a focus on real estate, infrastructure, or construction clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders and lead complex engagements.
  • Commercially minded with strong business development skills.
