JSS Tax are hiring for a experienced and strategic VAT / Indirect Tax Director for a leading multinational manufacturing business. This newly created role will be responsible for overseeing all VAT and indirect tax matters across all group companies, covering multiple jurisdictions. The VAT Director will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing a cohesive global VAT strategy, ensuring compliance, managing risk, and identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency across the group's diverse operations. The role is based from their office in the Thames Valley, supporting hybrid working arrangements. The position comes with a salary of circa £120,000 - £150,000 plus bonus and benefits package. Key Responsibilities: Strategy & Leadership Develop and implement a global VAT and indirect tax strategy aligned with the group’s business objectives and growth plans. Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership on indirect tax matters to senior management and stakeholders across the business.
