Financial PR – Mining (AIM & Small Cap)

Are you an experienced Financial PR Senior Account Manager (or newly promoted Account Director) looking to focus on a niche and prestigious mining portfolio? If so, read on!

Based in the heart of central London, this is a specialist financial public relations and investor relations agency with a focus on AIM & small to mid-cap listed companies.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the management of a number of client accounts, independently, with support from Account Director and Partners
  • Generally, you would be first contact for a client and as such you would manage their needs, provide a consultative approach and should be helpful, informative and responsive at all times
  • Develop positive working relationships with clients and other stakeholders
  • Deliver valuable solutions that exceed client expectations, steering client work streams both within the agency and externally
  • Confident in managing ongoing work steams for a number of clients, simultaneously
  • Managing and supporting the growth of other team members
  • Creation of new ideas to better deliver success for both clients and the agency, ensuring the maintenance of superior client service levels
  • Manage and attend client and agency events
  • Involvement in new business pitches
  • Reporting to Account Director and Partners on status of clients and projects
  • Managing and attending site visits and other industry events

What we are looking for:

  • Experience within a financial or corporate PR agency
  • Strong relationship building experience with clients and other advisers, confidence in working closely with other stakeholders to deliver success
  • Ability to respond to client briefs and successfully manage their ongoing PR requirements
  • Strong existing journalist relationships or the confidence and experience to build new relationships with key journalists
  • Strong communication skills including high-level presentation and writing skills
  • Ability to handle the pressure of a fast-paced environment which may include dealing with difficult customers and balancing competing priorities
  • Ability to initiate action and make decisions when required
  • Proven contribution to securing new business
  • It is essential that you are creative, organised, diligent and structured in your approach to client management as clients and their projects will be numerous and varied.
