Overview

Account Director for Mobiles at Opus Technology. The role leads business development and manages the full sales cycle for mobile-related solutions, including selling Mobile Networks (O2, VF, EE), UEM, and Mobile Threat Management. The successful candidate will self-generate a sustainable pipeline and cross-sell opportunities with product specialists as appropriate.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Sales Director for Mobile to agree sales and marketing strategies
  • Achieve revenue and gross profit sales targets
  • Achieve KPIs including number of appointments set, number of outbound calls, number of proposals and presentations delivered
  • Generate own leads by calling and booking appointments
  • Demonstrate strong conversion of company-generated leads and appointments
  • Build prospect pipeline and manage revenue/new customer pipeline
  • Canvass new business from the current client database
  • Inspire junior sales consultants, leveraging them as a source of new business leads

Requirements / Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience of self-generating leads and sustaining a pipeline to meet and exceed sales GP targets within the Telecoms or Mobile sector
  • Demonstrable client-facing skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with strong planning and negotiation skills
  • Experience working with a variety of clients in an SME/Major environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented
