OverviewThis is an incredible opportunity for an Account Director or Senior Account Manager looking for a step up who is energised by a dynamic, globally connected role. Based in London, you will embrace truly global sponsorships, travelling internationally on a regular basis and working on the ground with the client's sponsorship activation team, keeping you connected to both the client and the agency. This is a fixed contract until April 2026 with the possibility to extend. You will be fully integrated within the client's sports sponsorship creative and activation team, collaborating closely across a global portfolio including Motorsports, Football, Golf, and Cricket. Responsibilities
Develop innovative and creative activations across a global sponsorship portfolio, ensuring each campaign sets new standards for excellence and impact. Collaborate with the client's internal departments to establish clear objectives and processes, bringing teams together around sponsorship activations and goals. Engage directly with rights holders and agency partners to deliver best-in-class activations. Champion effective communication by developing briefs and sharing project updates and results across all levels of the client's business. Apply knowledge of sponsorship activation, bringing fresh ideas and best practices to projects and adapting to new challenges across diverse sports and markets. As the client redefines sponsorship creative and activation, work independently and within teams to drive brand and business objectives. Experience with multinational brands and rights holders, delivering standout sponsorship campaigns and creative activations is preferred. Focus on managing innovative sponsorship activations across an incredible portfolio, building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels inside and outside the organisation to collaborate with client teams, rights holders, and agency partners to bring fresh ideas to life and deliver measurable impact. Deliver impactful briefs, persuasive presentations and articulate post-campaign reports. A keen eye for detail and strong communication skills are essential to succeed in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Adobe design tools is beneficial.
Qualifications
Has 5+ years experience within an agency, rights holder or brand environment working across sponsorships and delivering integrated campaigns and activations. Experience of growing positive and effective relationships with client stakeholders and the ability to cultivate strong relationships with staff, internal stakeholders, vendors and partners. Exceptional attention to detail, along with organisational, time and project management skills. Exemplary verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate clearly and present with conviction, enthusiasm and confidence in meetings. Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously. Capability and comfort in overseeing large budgets, demonstrating financial management excellence. Capacity to quickly become knowledgeable on the client’s industry, brand and product offerings.
