Social Account Director (7 month Maternity Cover) We’re working with a highly respected independent creative agency to find a talented Social Account Director to join their team on a maternity cover contract.
Our client is an employee-owned B Corp that partners with some of the biggest names in personal care, health, and lifestyle, delivering work that blends cultural insight, social-first creativity, and beautifully crafted execution.
The Role This is a senior hybrid position, leading one of the agency’s flagship global accounts in the consumer and personal care space. You’ll oversee a high-performing team of account managers, strategists, producers and creatives, ensuring delivery of innovative, social-first campaigns that resonate with audiences worldwide.
You’ll drive both organic and paid social strategies, nurture long-term relationships, and play a central role in commercial growth. You’ll also contribute to the agency’s own profile through thought leadership and communications.
Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day client partnership for a major global brand Shape and deliver organic and paid social strategies Spot growth opportunities and deliver against commercial targets Line manage and mentor a cross-functional team Oversee budgets, forecasting and account profitability Represent the agency in pitches and industry forums
About You The company is looking for a confident, proven leader with a deep passion for social media and brand storytelling.
7+ years’ experience in social-first agency environments Expertise across platforms, content, culture and community management A track record of managing teams, clients and commercial performance Strong strategic, creative and operational acumen Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire trust A cool, organised approach under pressure with meticulous attention to detail
