You can experience a world of opportunity and the chance to shape a career as unique as you.A Little More About Your Role… We are looking for an Associate Director to act as a technical lead on our projects and bring your ability to us in successfully delivering a wide range of exciting local authority projects in the UK.Liveable Places work with a wide range of local authority & private clients from across the UK to help them achieve their place making ambitions. We deliver a wide range of schemes from concept to delivery that include public realm, highway engineering, inclusive design, traffic engineering, road safety, traffic signals, pedestrian / traffic modelling, active travel, and parking.The Liveable Places team is based in offices across the country with over 200 staff, currently making up the team with further growth planned. We enjoy our work and are exceptionally enthusiastic people who are great at what we do. This is an excellent opportunity for you to develop in your career through exposure to a wide variety of experiences.We have a strong track record working closely with our clients and this role provides a great opportunity to have a pivotal role within Liveable Places and help support and steer its growth going forward.What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate…A civil engineering degree or equivalentChartered membership of a relevant professional bodyProven ability to lead and manage project teams and individualsProven ability to successfully deliver projectsProven track record in project management and financial controlPassion for mentoring and developing talentHighway, transport, traffic signals and road safety engineering experienceExcellent ability to engage with stakeholders including public sector officials, members of the public and other senior colleagues.Don’t quite meet all the criteria?
