We have opportunities for Associate Director level Project Controls professionals to deliver across major infrastructure projects and programmes in London and the South East. Roles suit Project Controls specialists with proven experience in sectors such as rail, aviation, power, water/utilities, highways or defence.
Responsibilities
- Deliver project controls services with end-to-end responsibility for large, complex and mega projects. Establish overall success criteria for the contract (time, cost, performance).
- Implement effective project governance, processes and systems throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead and facilitate inputs from cross-functional project controls teams in a matrix environment.
- Maintain the risk register and support evaluation of all risk components and variations related to performance objectives.
- Monitor and apply performance management techniques, including KPIs to improve project performance.
- Manage change control processes as required and monitor project finances.
- Manage the flow of project information within the project team and act as day-to-day interface to ensure client objectives are met within time, cost and quality standards.
- Support centre of expertise in developing and implementing the PMO project controls service.
- Ensure projects are managed to the right quality standards and completed efficiently, on time and to budget.
- Ensure project controls delivery aligns with the client’s objectives and conditions of appointment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant technical degree and management qualifications.
- Professional experience undertaking project control roles for development and/or delivery of construction projects.
- Experience in planning & scheduling and cost management.
- Experience in risk management, change control information management and reporting within complex projects, with integration of these components.
- Working knowledge of Prism and Unifier cost management systems.
- Ability to manage and mentor a team of specialists, enabling training and development for junior staff.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6.
