OverviewEverywhen is seeking an Insurance Broking Branch Director based in Manchester. The Branch Director will act as the senior leader at a Branch level with accountability for all aspects of branch business, local P&L, and driving growth through retention, cross-sales, and new client sales. You will set standards of performance and behavior, lead the Branch team, and ensure the team has the knowledge, skills, capacity, and resources to grow sales. The primary focus is providing strong, effective leadership of the Branch, implementing the regional strategy, and being accountable for the branch P&L.ResponsibilitiesLead and support the team to deliver the best customer outcomes while meeting Consumer Duty requirements, working with the Regional Director to achieve financial targets for your branch, region, and the GI business.Lead risk management, implementing plans to ensure colleagues meet risk and quality assurance requirements and monitoring trends to enable actions and mitigations.Collaborate with the Regional Director to identify barriers to retention or new sales and promote growth opportunities, sharing good practice.Highlight operational needs to the Regional Director to ensure an optimal customer journey, balance customer satisfaction and technical standards, implement solutions, optimise resources, manage workflow, and drive standardisation and continuous improvement with meaningful MI.What We Are Looking ForExperienced people leader with a track record of delivering sales growth and leading teams to revenue targets within a regulatory framework.Management experience in insurance with knowledge of placement and insurer relationships.Proven track record of delivering top and bottom-line performance and growth, organically or inorganically.Experience managing client relationships.Ability to improve business performance, income, and employee engagement within a regulated environment through effective sales planning.Strong commercial leadership with financial awareness and understanding of external markets, performance, and business drivers.Significant experience managing a P&L budget.Robust understanding of business processes and performance levers.Ability to lead with new ideas and innovation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels.Willingness to travel to various offices and attend meetings, including potential overnight stays.This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious individual with a proven track record who is seeking their next career move in Insurance in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding role.Everywhen is an equal opportunities employer with a diversity, equity and inclusion strategy; we are committed to a working environment free from discrimination, inclusive, and supportive for all employees to reach their full potential.Please note: We may close a vacancy prior to the publish end date if the required quality or number of applications is received.
