Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Conversion

Actively seek out new business opportunities, including referrals, networking with estate agents, law firms, panels, auction houses and housebuilders and leveraging existing client relationships and legacy contacts to generate instructions for conveyancing searches.

Client Relationship Management

Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, including estate agents, housebuilders, mortgage brokers, and other legal professionals. Provide excellent client service and ensure clients are kept informed throughout the transaction process.

Promote the firm's conveyancing search services

Promote the firm's conveyancing search services and its value proposition to potential clients. This may include creating marketing materials, attending industry events, and participating in online marketing campaigns.

Business Development Strategy

Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and generate new revenue streams for the conveyancing search practice.

Reporting & Analysis

Track key performance indicators, including lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue growth. Provide regular reports to management on progress and performance.

Collaboration with Real Estate Legal Teams

Work closely with solicitors and other legal staff to ensure a seamless and efficient process for clients.

Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and new products and services in the conveyancing search market

Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and new products and services in the conveyancing search market. This includes - but is not limited to - commercial, residential and agricultural conveyancing.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management.
  • Knowledge of the conveyancing process, particularly the role of searches.
  • Knowledge of ancillary products that support the conveyancing process, including anti-money laundering checks, lender check tools and insurance indemnity solutions.
  • Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and other business development tools.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach.
