The Ascott Limited is seeking an experienced, driven and high achiever as Business Development Director to join our Business Development Europe team, who collectively spearhead the growth of our Lodging portfolio, when it comes to lease, management and franchise agreements.

You will report to the VP Business Development and Product & Technical Services, EMEA, focusing on the UK and Ireland region. Your immediate team and colleagues are based across Europe and you will be based at our UK Corporate Office in London, collaborating with our support function teams for our European portfolio.

As the Business Development Director will be responsible for:

• Executing the business development strategy aligned with Ascott's Europe growth vision by leveraging market intelligence to identify emerging trends and achieve short- and long-term growth ambitions.
• Managing the complete development cycle from building relationships and networking to position Ascott as the preferred operator, to sourcing, evaluating, pitching, integrating, and closing deals, and finally handing over to internal stakeholders.
• Build trusted partnerships and drive alignment with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the desired outcomes and deliver the growth strategy and ambition.
• Negotiate commercial terms and agreements for single or portfolio transactions, conversions, new builds, and renewals to maximize Ascott's value creation and ensure a smooth handover to internal teams.

To be successful in the role of Business Development Director, we require:

• Multilingual (a second language is advantageous)
• Ability to carry out financial analysis to evaluate deals effectively
• Willingness to travel frequently
• A critical thinker, solutions-oriented individual with strong negotiation skills
• Capable to work autonomously, yet collaborate and engage with various stakeholders and teams
