Role Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Business Development to join our growing MSP (Managed Service Provider) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in global sales, particularly within the MSP sector, and a deep understanding of global solutions and client relationship management.
This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and driving growth across global markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development
- Identify and target prospective clients for global MSP solutions through research, networking, and lead generation.
- Collaborate with internal brand partners to create cross-selling opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Expand and enhance existing MSP solutions globally.
- Promote and upsell Statement of Work (SOW) offerings.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their business needs and aligning MSP solutions accordingly.
- Conduct meetings and presentations to demonstrate the value of our services.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Sales Process Management
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including proposal development and contract negotiation.
- Work closely with internal teams to design tailored solutions that meet client requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Market Analysis and Strategy
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks.
- Provide market feedback to the product development team to refine MSP offerings.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and revenue.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Track and report on key sales metrics including revenue, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy.
About You
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in global solution sales, ideally within the MSP industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of MSP services and solution-led selling.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools.
- UK driving licence.
- Flexibility to work across global time zones as needed.
