The goal is to secure new customers for our core suite of products and services (Gateway, Acquiring, DCC). The asset will work closely with the Head of Sales, Key and Global Account Managers, Sales Support, Marketing, Product, Operations, Legal, GTM, and wider teams to sell our solutions to these new customers and ensure high customer satisfaction.**What you will do:*** Lead the review and segmentation of opportunities in the Retail, Hospitality, and F&B sectors and build commercial business cases to support investments.* Build an annual Sales Development plan and nurture a pipeline of business opportunities.* Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual new business sales targets.* Maximise revenue opportunities and ensure business profitability.* Manage customer relationships until they are transitioned to an Account Manager.* Respond to customer/partner queries professionally and promptly.* Collaborate with supporting departments to resolve issues to a satisfactory standard.* Accurately complete sales documentation including quotations, proposals, and tenders.* Lead the creation and delivery of new business presentations.* Maintain CRM system with accurate customer and opportunity data in line with KPIs.* Provide timely and accurate information to managers and internal departments.* Contribute to the broader sales team by sharing ideas and supporting colleagues.* Represent the company professionally and constructively* The ideal candidate will drive new business acquisition across key growth regions including the USA, Canada, and Mexico.**Who you are:*** Proven experience in new business B2B sales, preferably within retail, hospitality, F&B merchant acquiring or related service industries.* Experience selling to operations, IT, and finance stakeholders with a strong understanding of retail, hospitality, and F&B technology.* Strong knowledge of current sales techniques and experience developing sales pipelines and plans.* Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding new business targets.* Knowledge of the North American retail, hospitality, and F&B industry or IT solutions within these sectors is a strong advantage.* Familiarity with Card Acquiring, DCC, payment solutions, EPOS systems, and e-commerce dynamics is beneficial.* Understanding of card scheme pricing models and experience negotiating merchant acquiring agreements.* Knowledge of card scheme rules relevant to merchant acquiring services.* Strong interpersonal and networking skills in a similar sales environment.* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.* Strong organizational, planning, and sales preparation skills.* Working knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce or similar).* High proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and other corporate IT systems.* Experience working in a complex international matrix organization.* Passionate about sales with a proven ability to drive results in a fast-growing company.* Self-managed, resilient, and professionally presented.* Reliable, with strong interpersonal integrity.* A confident communicator.* A collaborative team player.* Skilled in time management and able to meet tight deadlines.* Comfortable with change and fast-paced environments.* Capable of coordinating cross-functional resources and ensuring alignment.**Why Planet:**Planet is an equal opportunity employer where diversity is valued, and all employment is decided based on qualifications, merit, and business need.Come and grow your career in the most exciting, fast paced technology market, with a business that delivers feel-good connected commerce.
