Operating across transactional and specialty markets, the MGA delivers bespoke credit and political risk solutions to banks, corporates, and investors. This is a senior leadership role combining strategy, underwriting, and market development, offering the platform, autonomy, and capital strength to build a best-in-class franchise.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the underwriting strategy for credit and political risk lines, setting risk appetite and pricing parameters.
• Develop and deliver bespoke insurance solutions across trade, structured, and financial risks.
• Oversee portfolio management, governance, and capital optimisation through the captive structure.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, carriers, reinsurers, and clients.
• Lead and mentor a team of underwriters and credit professionals.

Requirements

• Senior experience in credit or political risk underwriting (MGA, Lloyd’s, or carrier background).
