Director, Hospitality & Events - Formula 1 Sponsor

As Director, Hospitality & Events, you will lead the end-to-end strategy, planning, and delivery of premium hospitality and sponsorship activations for a globally recognized brand within the Formula 1 (F1) landscape. This role focuses on ensuring each event reflects the sponsor's objectives and provides exceptional experiences for guests, partners, and stakeholders. It offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced events and F1 professional to showcase their skills on a global stage, bringing the sponsor's brand to life at some of the most exciting motorsport events worldwide.

You will work closely with client contacts, agency teammates across Europe, the US, and globally, as well as operational partners, to ensure every detail—from sponsorship asset management to guest experience—is delivered to the highest standard. You will thrive in a fast-paced, international event environment, traveling to race destinations and ensuring each activation is seamless, memorable, and aligned with the sponsor's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, manage, and deliver the sponsor's global Formula 1 hospitality program, ensuring consistent quality and brand alignment.
  2. Provide strategic guidance to the client on event concepts, program design, and execution plans, overseeing all phases of event delivery—including logistics, guest experience design, venue selection and contracting, supplier management, at-track operations, and budget oversight.
  3. Lead the planning and execution of site surveys, ensuring all logistical, operational, and brand requirements are met, while managing complex budgets and overseeing all event branding, collateral, and on-site materials.
  4. Oversee onsite delivery of corporate hospitality programs, focusing on Formula 1, ensuring all experiences meet brand standards and exceed guest expectations.
  5. Manage and direct on-site vendors, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with policies, operational excellence, and safety standards.
  6. Develop and deliver client-ready event documentation, including itineraries, staffing plans, run-of-show schedules, and post-event recaps with actionable insights.
  7. Lead client conference calls, meetings, and communications, managing project status with account leads, internal teams, and clients.
  8. Identify opportunities for business growth and recommend new strategies to clients and the company.
