Job Description: We are seeking a strategic, experienced, and client-centric professional to lead onboarding for Financial Markets clients globally, ensuring world-class service delivery across all touchpoints. The role requires cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Coverage, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to onboard clients efficiently, compliantly, and ready to trade across the full product suite.

Overview

This is a senior leadership role responsible for setting and executing the onboarding strategy for Markets clients worldwide, with a focus on transformation, scale, and superior client experience in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Transformation: Define and execute global onboarding strategy for Markets clients; champion transformation initiatives for scale, digitisation, and client experience; align onboarding with Markets growth and regulatory strategy.
  • Executive Stakeholder Management: Act as trusted partner to senior leaders in Sales, Coverage, and Risk; represent onboarding in executive forums and audits; lead resolution of high-impact onboarding escalations with a solutions-first approach.
  • Governance, Risk & Regulatory Oversight: Oversee regulatory readiness including KYC, CIP, FATCA, EMIR, and Dodd-Frank; ensure compliance with global and local policies; drive proactive risk identification and operational integrity.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure seamless client onboarding, including e-platform enablement and trading limits; build robust management information, KPIs, and quality control to drive performance; promote continuous improvement through automation and process redesign.
  • People & Culture Leadership: Lead and inspire a high-performing global onboarding team; foster an inclusive culture focused on development and well-being; provide mentorship and skills uplift across regions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven expertise in Markets products and client onboarding across jurisdictions; deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and operational controls.
  • Executive-level stakeholder management and communication; strategic thinker with hands-on delivery focus; strong leadership and team development capabilities.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in client onboarding, Markets operations, or financial services; experience leading complex onboarding and client enablement in a regulated environment.
  • Deep understanding of onboarding platforms, workflow tools, and client lifecycle management; fluent in English (verbal and written); additional languages are a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline; advanced qualifications a plus.
