Director - Talent Network Specialist (Private Equity Experience Required)

Job Description

Our client, a leading private equity firm is seeking a Director-level Talent Network Specialist with significant experience in C-suite and board-level recruitment, including CEOs and Non-Executive Directors, and a proven background working with private equity–backed companies.


This is a high-impact position where the successful candidate will work closely with portfolio businesses to identify leadership gaps, secure top executive hires, and support organisational growth across a range of sectors.


Location & Work Pattern


  • Base: London, the Midlands, or Scotland
  • 3 days per week in-office
  • Travel required across the North, Midlands, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Ireland


Key Responsibilities


  • Identifying board-level leadership needs and presenting high-calibre executive candidates
  • Supporting Deal Teams with talent strategy, executive search, and management due diligence
  • Driving leadership development and performance reviews across portfolio Boards
  • Ensuring best practices in Talent Network operations, data management, and communications


Candidate Requirements


  • Extensive experience recruiting at the C-suite/Board level, including CEOs and Non-Executive Directors
  • Demonstrated success working with private equity–backed companies
  • Strong judgment in assessing senior-level candidates and cultural fit
  • Expertise in organisational design, talent planning, and leadership development
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in demanding, fast-paced environments
