CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting an Engineering and Operations Director to look after our contract with a leading company within the beverage industry.

The Engineering & Operations Director role provides senior technical leadership and operational support to the Alliance Director and operations teams. Responsible for driving the asset management strategy, defining requirements with our CMMS data to transform and optimise equipment reliability, availability and yield. They will be accountable for the development of policies and procedures across the EMEA portfolio, including Statutory and Regulatory compliance for regulated assets, managing the performance of mechanical and maintenance systems, workload planning and identifying growth opportunities through extra works and projects. This position will work closely with our client, the Alliance Director business goals. The candidate will be fully responsible for all technical scope within the CBRE remit, and able to recognise and support the local site clients for areas outside of CBRE responsibility.

The ideal candidate is a strong engineering leader, able to influence technical FM delivery and asset management strategy, leading key engineering initiatives such as incident response, root cause analysis, technical business cases and deep dive into specific technical workstreams. A deep understanding and qualification in Reliability is desirable. A technical SME with broad experience in areas such as (but not limited to) HV/LV, BMS, Pressure Systems, Confined space, Mechanical, HVAC, maintenance services and engineering toolkits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Primary point of contact for engineering and operational support to site teams who require technical input and advice, with alignment to specific global goals.
  • Establish and lead Asset management and maintenance strategy.
  • Accountable for the robust delivery of in-country compliance management of regulated assets and provides support for ‘in-country’ compliance rules and regulations.
  • Partner with client stakeholders to develop client's life cycle asset strategy & management policy, and by responsible preparing and delivering yearly asset capital planning proposals (using asset performance data, plant production rates etc.).
  • Act as support to the Alliance Director for guidance on operational performance improvement and asset reliability performance (risk & opportunity).
  • Support the maintenance team through development, implementation, application and ongoing improvements of preventative/condition-based maintenance and engineering procedures.
  • Help develop a world class predictive maintenance program that focuses heavily on system reliability.
  • Perform reliability analysis of the maintenance program by performing in depth root cause analysis and trending.
