Environmental Health Officer / Food Safety Officer – Fixed Term

About the role:

Join a focused team dedicated to assessing unrated food premises, ensuring they meet essential hygiene standards. This is your chance to directly protect public health by delivering timely inspections, providing expert advice to food businesses, and driving improvements in food hygiene compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of unrated premises
• Advise businesses on food safety compliance
• Take enforcement action where necessary
• Maintain detailed records and contribute to service goals

Qualifications

• Competence in the Inspection of Food Establishments (Cluster 4)
• Completed at least 10 hours of Food Core CPD, in line with the latest Food Law Code of Practice and Practice Guidance
• Copies of relevant qualifications, CPD certificates, and EHORB/EHRB (or equivalent) registration to be provided on request
