OverviewEXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO OWNER/MANAGING DIRECTOR – MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY | AYLESBURY, BUCKINGHAMSHIRE | £40,000–£45,000 + BENEFITS | PERMANENTWe are proud to be partnering exclusively with a leading medical technology company based in Aylesbury, currently experiencing an exciting period of growth and innovation. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to step into a trusted, strategic partnership with the Managing Director - acting as a confidante, business enabler, and key member of the leadership team.This role goes far beyond traditional EA responsibilities. As the right hand to the MD, you will provide seamless operational support, ensure business priorities are delivered, and act as a sounding board for commercial decisions. Approximately 70% of the role is business-focused, with 30% dedicated to managing the MD’s personal portfolio.This position is ideal for a commercially astute EA who thrives in a dynamic environment, anticipates needs, and enjoys being at the heart of a purposeful and high-performing organisation.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESBusiness SupportManage the MD’s complex diary, prioritising commitments and ensuring readiness for meetings.Act as gatekeeper and liaison, maintaining clear communication across senior stakeholders.Support development of strategic partnerships and business opportunities in the UK and overseas.Draft correspondence, prepare reports, presentations, minutes, and board-level documentation.Coordinate HR activities including recruitment, appraisals, and confidential staff matters.Assist with operational oversight such as Health & Safety and company policies.Organise internal and external meetings, events, and travel arrangements.Personal SupportAdminister personal financial matters including pensions, tax returns, and investments.Oversee property management (maintenance, repairs, expenses, leasehold administration).Liaise with financial advisors, accountants, and other third parties.Manage confidential personal records and ensure discretion at all times.What We’re Looking ForSignificant EA experience supporting a senior executive or business owner.Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.High levels of discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence.Strong commercial acumen and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.Tech-savvy, with strong Microsoft Office and Apple skills.Confident, adaptable, and able to operate with autonomy.The PackageSalary £40,000–£45,000 DOE23 days holiday + bank holidays (rising with service)5% matched pension contributionPrivate healthcareThis is an exciting chance to join a growing med-tech company at a pivotal stage, working directly with a Managing Director who values their EA as an essential partner in success.
