Executive Director/Senior Programme Director opportunity with a globally recognised financial institution at the forefront of regulatory transformation and enterprise-wide change. Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale regulatory change programmes within ECB-regulated environments and across the European banking sector.
• Deliver complex transformation projects, managing diverse, cross-border teams and significant budgets.
• Navigate intricate stakeholder landscapes and communicate effectively with regulators to drive enterprise-wide change aligned with corporate strategy.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 15 years’ experience in financial services with at least 8 years in senior programme or change leadership roles overseeing complex transformation projects within regulated environments.
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale regulatory change programmes within ECB-regulated banks or across the European banking sector, particularly involving SREP, ICAAP, ILAAP, risk governance frameworks, or operational resilience initiatives.
• Comprehensive understanding of the ECB’s evolving supervisory landscape, including direct experience navigating multi-jurisdictional compliance across EMEA regulators.
• Proven track record managing all facets of major programmes—from process redesigns through data management, policy development, client experience optimisation, system architecture, digitisation, and workflow improvements—delivering measurable efficiencies.
