Role

Senior Finance Director role with Elevation Recruitment Group in West Yorkshire. A commercially astute Finance Director who can provide financial insight, strategic direction, and operational leadership to support sustainable growth. You will work closely with the Chief Executive and senior leadership to own financial strategy and performance, balancing hands-on leadership of the finance function with involvement in commercial decision-making, investment planning, and systems development.

The successful candidate will combine technical strength with sound commercial judgement. You’ll be comfortable leading teams, influencing direction, and contributing as a genuine business partner—helping to shape strategy, improve processes, and support profitable growth.

You will be a qualified accountant with a proven track record at Finance Director or senior finance level, ideally within a dynamic, growing environment. Experience in manufacturing or engineering would be advantageous, but the ability to think strategically and deliver results will matter most.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of financial strategy and performance to position the business for long-term success.
  • Provide financial insight and strategic direction to senior leadership, and act as a business partner in commercial decision-making.
  • Lead the finance function, including systems development and process improvements.
  • Support investment planning, governance, and value creation initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant with a proven record at Finance Director or senior finance level.
  • Experience in manufacturing or engineering is advantageous.
  • Strong strategic thinking, leadership ability, and track record of delivering results.
