Role Overview

We’re seeking a highly driven Sales Director to take full ownership of our global sales strategy and execution. You will be responsible for expanding our customer base, driving revenue growth, and establishing International Cashew Company as a preferred supplier to importers, processors, manufacturers, and retailers around the world.

This is a leadership role for someone who can both close major deals and build scalable sales infrastructure. You’ll work directly with the founders and executive team to shape the future of a business that’s already well beyond proof of concept.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and execute international B2B sales strategies for bulk and processed cashew products.

•Manage and grow relationships with importers, food manufacturers, distributors, and large private label buyers.

•Lead commercial negotiations across pricing, contract terms, and delivery structures (Incoterms, LC terms, etc.).

•Represent the company at global trade fairs, buyer missions, and strategic client meetings.

•Define monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets aligned to our $50M+ revenue trajectory.

•Monitor global cashew market dynamics, price trends, and customer behavior to inform positioning and deal structures.

•Partner with factory, logistics, and finance teams to ensure supply chain alignment and service-level excellence.

•Develop sales tracking systems (e.g. CRM, pipeline dashboards) to drive performance and visibility.

•Hire and mentor a high-performing international sales team as volume and geography expand.

•Build internal sales SOPs, training materials, and buyer onboarding flows.

•Lead cross-functional collaboration with marketing, operations, and finance teams to streamline go-to-market execution.

Requirements

Qualifications

•Degree in Business, International Trade, Agribusiness, or related discipline

OR

•5+ years’ senior sales experience in food ingredients, commodities, or fast-moving international B2B environments.

•Proven ability to close multi-million dollar B2B deals internationally.

•Deep understanding of export markets, commodity pricing, and end-to-end sales cycles.

•Track record of scaling accounts and opening new markets across Europe, the Middle East, or North America.

•Strong commercial instincts with the ability to balance margin, volume, and risk.

•Comfortable with international travel and working across time zones.

•Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Nice to Have

•Existing portfolio or contacts in the cashew, nut, dried fruit, or agri-food sectors.

•Fluency in Arabic, French, or Spanish.

•Experience launching or expanding private label offerings.

•Familiarity with container logistics and documentation (BoL, CO, phytosanitary, etc.).
