Inside Sales Director – EMEAI Hybrid – UK-based with regular travel £110,000 + 25-50% bonus (Uncapped)
A cutting-edge life sciences company at the forefront of their technology is seeking an exceptional Inside Sales Director to lead and evolve its EMEAI inside sales function. As part of a dynamic commercial leadership team, you will drive lead conversion strategy, coach and develop a high-performing inside sales team, and work cross-functionally with technical support and customer success functions to deliver outstanding customer engagement.
This is a hybrid position, requiring regular on-site presence at the company’s UK headquarters a couple of times per week, near Oxford.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and implement a clear and ambitious inside sales vision and strategy for the EMEAI region. Lead, inspire, and scale a results-driven inside sales team, ensuring alignment with commercial targets. Foster a high-performance culture through mentoring, coaching, and continuous development. Ensure effective adoption of internal tools, systems, and processes to optimise team output. Champion innovation by empowering teams to explore new approaches to lead conversion and sales pipeline development. Collaborate closely with wider sales, marketing, and customer support teams to deliver a unified commercial experience.
Who We're Looking For:
Life sciences background – ideally a PhD, MSc, or equivalent experience in genomics, biology, or a related field. Inside sales leadership experience, ideally within the above sectors. Proven ability to build, scale, and mentor high-performing sales teams. Strong strategic thinking and vision-setting capability. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, agile, and innovative environment. Willing and able to be on-site near Oxfordshire on a regular basis.
