OverviewInterim Director - Exhibition Road Cultural Group (ERCG) seeks maternity cover. Discover South Kensington is the public-facing brand for our destination marketing. Harnessing the collective power of ERCG’s member organisations, the ERCG aims to provide a strong, unified voice for the district and address shared challenges to achieve positive change. The Interim Director will lead with a vision of a thriving cultural district that is accessible, welcoming, enjoyable and future-facing for all who visit, work, live and study in South Kensington.An effective advocate, the Interim Director will be able to utilise the creativity and expertise of ERCG member organisations to manage cross-organisational projects and programmes designed to promote and develop the district.ResponsibilitiesDeliver a vision of a thriving cultural district that is accessible, welcoming, enjoyable and future-facing for visitors, workers, residents and students in South Kensington.Act as an effective advocate and leverage ERCG member organisations’ creativity and expertise to manage cross-organisational projects and programmes that promote and develop the district.Oversee the day-to-day running of the organisation and a small team, including volunteers and contracted staff, with delegated responsibility from the Board of Trustees.Represent ERCG at every level, including liaising with local and national politicians and government bodies, local residents, colleagues and senior executives across partner institutions.Initiate and establish activity across a varied network to deliver the ERCG’s charitable mission.Contract & LocationContract: TemporaryLocation: The ERCG is based at the Natural History Museum in South Kensington, London. There is the option to work from home 1–2 days per week, depending on role requirements.Hours & BenefitsHours: 4 days per week (32 hours). Some flexibility may be possible. Holiday entitlement is 25 days pro rata per year, excluding Bank Holidays. Salary: £60,000 per year (equivalent to £75k pro rata), plus pension contribution of 8%.How to ApplyClick on the “Apply now” button below.
