Main Purpose Of The Role

Specifically, you will have accountability for the following product domain: Corporate Financial Solutions (GFS - Structurer). You will focus on structured transactions with EMEA Corporate Clients such as preferred shares and structured holdco/JV financing, as well as collateralised financing (e.g. GPU backed) transactions. This role can be based in either our London or Paris office.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning, Strategy Development and Execution - Structurer: contribute to the successful execution of GFS strategy in line with regional and international objectives; ensure day-to-day activities align to the departmental business strategy and meet financial and non-financial targets; lead and manage staff where applicable; manage product portfolio; ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements; contribute to budget management and cross-group collaboration.
• Risk Management: identify, monitor and act on risk across the product/domain; structure transactions accurately; monitor transactions to stay within risk appetite; escalate issues as needed; protect and enhance the Firm’s reputation; support franchise development and client-focused growth; promote controls and compliance.
• People and Controls: build and develop a high-quality team; ensure staff are trained and understand requirements; manage regulatory obligations and maintain strong stakeholder relationships regionally and globally.

• Managing Director, senior structurer with 10+ years’ experience delivering Corporate-Linked financing solutions to EMEA clients

Skills And Experience

• Academic Qualifications: Master’s degree or equivalent with major in Economics, Finance, Science, Engineering or Law
• Strong quantitative background and financial modelling abilities
• Proven ability to manage multiple transactions under pressure, meet tight deadlines, adapt to changing market conditions
• Highly organised, able to work independently
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
• Solid quantitative and analytical abilities; ability to synthesize complex financial and market data
• Effective written and verbal communication; able to present ideas clearly to stakeholders
• Self-motivated, proactive, commercially aware with interest in capital markets
• Familiarity with UK regulatory requirements (FCA, PRA) and willingness to meet fitness and propriety standards for regulated roles
