Overview

We are on the hunt for a New Business Development Director to lead our new business growth strategy. PSE are a full-service Direct Mail Agency with expertise across Direct Mail, Partially Addressed Mail, and Door Drops; helping brands land DM in to the home and deliver exceptional results.

Objective of Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for raising the profile and positioning of PSE as the go-to partner for print direct marketing, working closely with the senior leadership team and your existing contacts to deliver ambitious growth targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a NEW business development strategy to achieve revenue and growth objectives from new clients within our target sectors.
  • Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers, marketing leaders, and procurement teams within prospect businesses.
  • Lead the full sales cycle for your new business: from lead generation and pitch development through to contract negotiation and first order.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver compelling proposals and pitches.
  • Expand your network by representing PSE at industry events, networking forums, and trade shows.

Key Attributes

  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or commercial leadership within marketing services.
  • A knowledge of direct mail or integrated marketing.
  • A seasoned networker with a strong network of senior marketing contacts across relevant sectors and a proactive approach to attending networking events.
  • Experience leading complex pitches and RFP responses.
  • Commercially astute with a deep understanding of ROI-driven marketing.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a leadership team.
