OverviewWe are seeking a strategic and results-driven Operations Director to lead the national delivery of planned maintenance, responsive repairs, and void property refurbishment across our £500 million social housing portfolio. This executive role is central to driving operational excellence, commercial performance, and customer satisfaction across all service lines.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership: Develop and execute operational strategies that align with corporate objectives and deliver sustainable growth across planned, responsive, and voids contractsNational Oversight: Lead regional operations teams to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across all contracts and geographiesPerformance Management: Set and monitor KPIs for productivity, cost control, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Drive continuous improvement and innovationStakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with housing associations, local authorities, and other partners. Ensure contract retention and growth through exceptional service deliveryCommercial Accountability: Oversee budgets, forecasts, and P&L performance. Collaborate with commercial and finance teams to ensure profitability and value for moneyCompliance & Risk: Ensure full compliance with health & safety, regulatory standards, and contractual obligations. Champion a culture of safety and accountabilityPeople Leadership: Inspire and lead a high-performing workforce.
