About The Team

The Prudential Risk and Regulation team provides tailored solutions to assist FS clients with regulation interpretation, implementation, and compliance. We support clients in developing regulatory submissions, organizational and systems transformation initiatives, and managing prudential risks.

Typical engagements include:

• Reviewing and refining ICAAP, ILAAP, ICARA, recovery, and wind-down plans.
• Responding to client queries on prudential rules.
• Reviewing regulatory returns like COREP, FINREP, PRA 110.
• Performing skilled persons reviews.
• Assessing regulatory change project effectiveness.
• Providing assurance on regulatory data processing.
• Reviewing prudential risk management policies and procedures.
• Offering internal audit expertise.

About The Role

As a Manager / Associate Director, you will:

• Lead client engagement teams delivering high-quality services.
• Play a key role in business development.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
• Analyze information, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Lead workshops and design process controls.
• Implement improvements with client stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on engagement delivery, managing issues and risks.
• Prepare materials on regulatory impacts and risk practices.
• Develop client relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Contribute to proposals and technical pitches.
• Develop training materials and mentor junior staff.

Requirements

• Significant experience in prudential regulation and risk management, in industry, consultancy, or PRA.
• Knowledge of PRA rulebook, supervisory statements, and EU laws, including:
• UK prudential framework, Basel 3.1, PRA Rulebook, FCA Handbook.
• Preparation/review of ICAAP, ILAAP, ICARA, regulatory returns, and recovery plans.
• Understanding of PRA supervisory model and risk factors.
• Experience with regulatory returns and business model reviews.
