Overview

Regional Director of Development (South) – Clarion Housing Group. Location: Camden, London – Hybrid working. Salary: From £100,044 to £125,055 per annum plus £5,000 car allowance (in exceptional circumstances up to 10% above the top of the advertised range). Hours: 36 per week. Contract Type: Permanent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Development Management team across the South region, managing a range of projects from land-led sites to large regeneration schemes and joint ventures.
• Direct the pre-construction phase of development, including project vision, design, town planning, and place creation.
• Ensure delivery of viable, high-quality, safe, and sustainable schemes on programme and within budget.
• Motivate, develop, and manage your team; foster collaboration across wider teams and internal/external stakeholders.
• Identify and implement the function's strategy and business plan, align with Clarion's mission, vision, and values, and drive annual targets.
• Collaborate with the Regional Managing Director and the Regional Leadership Team to deliver strategic initiatives and improve team performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
• Proven leadership with substantial people management experience.
• Extensive real estate industry experience, including residential development and substantial experience in development, master planning, and place creation.

This is a hybrid role with a base location at our offices in Greater London House. Candidates will be expected to work from the office at least 3 days per week with some travel to sites. Applicants must be able to travel across the region as required. Occasional travel to other Clarion offices may be required.
