We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Director. As the Sales Director you will be responsible for agreeing and delivering an effective sales strategy to identify and secure new business development opportunities within London, as well as increase sales, growth and profitability from existing accounts.

The ideal candidate will possess a track record in B2B sales within the contract catering or wider hospitality industry with demonstrable experience of winning new business from major corporate clients as well as sound account management expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a robust sales strategy, reviewing progress on a regular basis with the senior leadership team.
  • Create proposals and plans and guide long-term objectives to meet business needs and requirements.
  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities for the company.
  • Research new markets and emerging market trends, recommending new services and proposing and developing new strategic client partnerships.
  • Manage an effective pipeline of potential new business accounts and active bids from first contact to final close.
  • Lead on presenting to new/prospective clients during the tender process and oversee the production of RFP responses to time and to client specifications.
  • Present marketing opportunities to the business and help to develop marketing strategies.
  • Lead, manage and develop the sales team to meet and exceed targets.

Qualifications:

  • Track record in B2B sales within a multi-location industry.
  • Demonstrable experience of winning new business from major corporate clients as well as strong account management expertise.
  • Excellent commercial skills, with the ability to exploit opportunities and prioritise accordingly.
  • Accomplished leader and people manager, able to pull a team together and communicate the common goals to gain buy-in and support.
