Purpose
The EMEA Regional Senior Finance Director is a strategic finance leader responsible for partnering with senior business stakeholders across Sales, Portfolio Management/Commercial, Operation, Investment and other Corporate functions in the region. The role plays a pivotal part in enabling data-driven decisions, enhancing profitability, and supporting sustainable growth across the region. The ideal candidate combines deep financial expertise with strong business acumen, thrives in fast paced environments, and brings expertise from asset-heavy or infrastructure sectors like data centres telecom, or real estate.
What you'll do
Business Partnering
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Investments, Portfolio Management/Commercial teams to identify opportunities for profitability improvements and cost optimization.
- Translate financial insight into actionable strategic recommendations.
- Oversee the development of performance dashboards and scorecards; monitor key metrics to ensure alignment with EMEA strategy.
- Oversee the development of financial insight for targeted business performance reviews with regional management.
- Collaborate with the sub-regional Finance Directors to provide the same support to the sub-regional management teams.
Performance Management
- Support target setting across EMEA markets,
- Partner with the Financial Planning and Reporting Team to deliver regional budget, forecast and long-range plan.
- Actively participate in budget reviews, challenge assumptions across revenue, leasing, capex, repair and maintenance spend and energy costs.
- Conduct deep dives into business performance and provide actionable insights on revenue, cost drivers, leasing, inventory management, capex/opex, energy across markets and assets to ensure target delivery.
- Support monthly management reporting with topical insights.
- Partner with Portfolio Management/Commercial and Investment teams to track performance against business cases and support return on investment improvement initiatives.
- Partner with the Global Energy team, develop financial models for forecasting and managing energy revenue and costs for the region.
Cross functional leadership
- Represent regional finance in cross-functional business initiatives, ensuring financial alignment across departments.
- Influence key business decisions by delivering structured financial insight to non-finance stakeholders.
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead and mentor the regional finance business partnering team,
- Set performance goals and ensure training and development of the team members.
Governance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with corporate finance policies
- Identify financial risks and opportunities across the assets in EMEA.

Support the EMEA Vice President Finance in
- Transforming the regional and sub-regional team into a high-performing business focused unit aligned with the ambitious growth objectives for the region.
- Developing and aligning business intelligence tools, reporting with the global finance standard.
- Participating in financial due diligence of potential acquisitions and supporting divestment evaluations.
What you'll need
- 10+ years' experience in commercial finance and FP&A roles, preferably in data centre, infrastructure, telecom, or real estate sectors in a cluster or regional role.
- Strong financial analysis and modelling skills are desired.
- Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
- Proven experience partnering with senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Yardi, Oracle) and BI tools
- Strong business and commercial acumen
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive and collaborative leadership style
- Clear communicator, able to influence and challenge constructively
- Leadership and Team development
- Ability to manage complexity in a fast-based, high growths environment
Qualifications
Bachelor or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or professional qualification such as CIMA, CPA, ACCA preferred)
