This role provides the opportunity to manage key campaigns across the year, collaborating with strategy, creative and production teams to deliver best-in-class campaigns and content. You will lead large social accounts, manage content and campaigns that build brand advocacy, and create assets that drive engagement, footfall, and purchase. You will lead an account, steer internal processes and ways of working with agency partners and clients. As the Business Director, you will work closely with the strategy, creative and programme leads across Social, Influence and PR teams. You should be able to participate in strategic conversations and inspire creative excellence. You will work with an Account Manager, a Community Manager and a Creative team to deliver high-quality social content and ensure ongoing performance, leaning into our research and data team.A Bit About YouWe are flexible on whether you come from an agency or client background. The following are important for this role:You’ll be a strong relationship builder and know how to influence stakeholders.Excellent at managing up; keep the client business lead informed and aligned.Organised and autonomous; motivate the team and anticipate obstacles to success.Understand processes to deliver social campaigns on budget and on time; collaborate with Project Manager for budgets and timings.Financially savvy; work with the team to deliver proposals within client budgets and ensure delivery.Excellent communicator, providing clear guidance to internal teams and presenting work to clients.Proactive, collaborative, and able to drive outcomes with client and agency teams.Execute with digital, social, platform-first thinking; understand how the brand should behave online to drive engagement.Experience in the retail sector is helpful but not essential.More About Your Role At OgilvyAs a Business Director you lead large, complex projects, problem-solve, and build strong client and colleague relationships.
