Technical Director

A leading decorative paint and wall covering manufacture have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Director to join them.

Location: Manchester

Salary: Circa £80,000 – £90,000 (relocation package possible)

This is a demanding role and as Technical Director it is essential you have experience in the production and manufacturing of paint and wallpaper.

As Technical Director your role will include:

* A history of launching new and innovative products into the Decorative Market (product development)
* Proven problem-solving skills covering technical, process and manufacturing.
* Good understanding of Point of Sale tinting including machine, software and colourant issues.
* Health and Safety understanding and preferably a qualification such as NEBOSH.
* A good understanding of legislation that affects the decorative market.
* A thorough understanding of formulating techniques including solvent based and water based technology.
* A track record of strong leadership and management skills.
* Project management experience.
