OverviewAssociate Director opportunity in the Transport division, Leeds. Join a global design leader in sustainable transport planning, working with a range of private and public sector clients to shape the future of transportation. You will build and maintain client relationships, lead and mentor a team, and contribute to the growth of the wider Transport business across Stantec.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong client relationships with developers, authorities, and co-professional collaborators.Lead and mentor a talented team; oversee delivery of project work that is commercially successful and technically excellent.Identify new client opportunities and drive business development to grow the Transport portfolio in the North of England.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver a wide range of transport planning projects.QualificationsChartered Transport Planning Professional with a relevant degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Engineering or a related field.Proven track record delivering transport-related development planning work (e.g., Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, Environmental Statements).Strong leadership skills with experience managing medium to large projects or workstreams.Commercial acumen with a flair for business development and client engagement.Ideally, some experience of business development and an established presence in the regional market.Ambition and passion to grow the team, deliver existing projects, and identify new opportunities in the market.About YouTo succeed in this role, you will ideally be a Chartered Transport Planning Professional with a relevant degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Engineering or a related field.About UsStantec is a global design leader with over 31,000 professionals, dedicated to designing with communities in mind.
